ARRIVAL
The quickest and most comfortable way to travel to your holiday resort is by air plane. From almost every airport close to your home town there are flights offered to CORFU and to PREVEZA (expenses for taxi to and from Parga)
If you land on CORFU island, take a taxi from the airport to the ferry harbor (approx. EUR 10,--) take a ferry boat to IGOUMENTISA (approx. EUR 10,-- per person one way, 70 to 90 min.) enjoy the cruise while you pass the old town and the fortress of Corfu town and the view of coast the islands. In Igoumentisa a taxi in waiting for you to bring you to your accommodation. (expenses for taxi to and from Parga)
Another possibility is to reserve a rental car in advance which can be delivered to the airports in Corfu or Preveza or to the ferry harbor in Igoumenitsa.
Arrival
by car
Travel to resort with your own car via Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindisi with ferry
boat is possible any time. Please note that there are a lot of times traffic jams
especially on the highway into Venice.
Leave from your home town in time in order not to miss the boat.
The ferryboat will not wait!

From Brindisi & Bari (South Italy) daily ferry departures.
Travelling
time from Venice from 24 up to 29 hours.
Travelling time from Ancona from 16 up to 19 hours.
Travelling time from Bari & Brindisi from 8 - 10 hours.
To
use the highways (Autobahn) in Austria and Switzerland you are obligated to have
a "Vignette" (toll sticker).
The road toll
in Italy can be paid cash or with VIACARD at the toll stations. The "Vignette"
you can buy at ADAC (=AAA), at the border or in petrol stations. Additional charges
for tunnel tolls (approx. EUR 35,-- in Italy and EUR 25,-- in Switzerland). First
ferry stop in Greece is the port of Igoumenitsa.
